In every job I solved a problem that propelled me and my companies to a significant difference over our competitors.

Homecare Post
In 2010, I created Homecare Post, a division of my own company Lindhorst.com that provided homecare information and collaboration. software for agencies, associations and consumers. It had a lot of firsts:
> The first and largest website aggregator of homecare news.
> The first responsive design (desktop and mobile) website in homecare.
> The first mobile app for homecare in the United States.
CareStar, Inc. - Co-Founder & Vice President
CareStar Homecare
In 1988, CareStar Homecare was a home health nursing serving mostly small towns. It started in a two bedroom apartment. It grew to serve around 21 markets and employed hundreds of employees. Our niche was solid and we dominated almost ever market we served.
CareStar had some notable national innovations:
> The first “one-stop” agency with nursing, infusion and DME equipment.
> The first to contract with National Leader Apria for nursing services.
> The first to have a home health care website in the nation.
Sold to a national firm in Staff Builders New York.
CareStar Case Management
We retained a tiny case management company with six employees. Excellent management and a little luck put CareStar in a position to win back-to-back $130 million contracts with the State of Ohio. We were reinvented into a bigger company with hundreds of employees statewide.
CareStar Technology
I worked with some brilliant people and we created a useful technology package that complimented our data base system. We called it MyOhiohcp (My Ohio Home Care Program) and it is an online portal system which securely delivers program information and clinical records to thousands of consumers and providers in Ohio Homecare Waiver Program. It was way ahead of all other care management systems in the U. S. It was:
> The first portal software for homecare case management in the nation.
> The first portal system that connected the patient (consumer) records.
> An innovative way to connect care workers and patient needs.
CareStar Learning
I was surrounded by brilliant professionals when I created and managed an online school for homecare nurses, nurse aides and case managers. It made a great profit and certainly saved a lot of valuable time for busy people.
> The site was profitable in the first month.
> It introduced thousands of nurse aides to online technology.
Integrated Medical Resources - Vice President of National Operations
Integrated Medical Resources was a physician practice management company with clinics nationwide. Hired in 1998 to help grow the company. However, the company suffered from poor cash flow, lack of marketing focus, changing management and unexpected competition.
> The company was in rough shape when I arrived.
> Learned more from a failing company than a growing company.
> Made progress with improving personnel and process.
Caremark Homecare - Regional Manager
In 1986 I moved into my first homecare related company, Caremark. It was a national pharmaceutical company specializing in home infusion therapy. It was my first real management job and it was an eye opening experience. I how learned to open new markets, build sites, hire staffs, create a sales force, train personnel, fire people, negotiate contracts and deal with incompetent corporate management.
> Awarded “Nation Top Performer” Grew from $0 to $21m in 9 months.
> Open two branches which both achieved “Top 10” of revenue producers.
> This was my first experience in corporate “reverse Darwinism”.
Kendall
In 1978, I began my humble beginnings in healthcare entailed selling disposable goods to hospitals and medical dealers. This included bandages and dressings, urologicals, operating room surgical packs and gowns. I used it as a job to learn and it worked out:
> It was a great place to learn selling.
> I help with packaging, testing and naming new products.
> These guys paid for my Master’s degree.
> I got involved in training, marketing and product testing.
